What Has Feelings Got To Do With It?

Greetings to you in the name of Jesus.  I have been doing lots of meditation and studying on love and faith. Today I want to discuss faith as the Spirit will lead.
The Bible said that faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God...Romans 10:17. The Bible also said that Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith...Hebrews 12:2.  Also, Romans 12:3 says that God has given to each of us the measure of faith.  So from the above Bible verses, we see that faith is a gift of God. God made man to have faith and each of us have faith within us, it's like the faith button God put inside of us comes alive when we hear the Word of God and as we continue to hear His Word.  Our faith is however made stronger when we put the Word of God to work.

A Christian cannot do anything outside the realm of faith. In fact, without faith, you cannot please God! Hebrews 11:6.  Man was created to be completely dependent on God, although we are free moral agents(meaning we are free to choose to serve God),  yet we can only get fulfillment in life if we serve God.  For instance, if you take the fish out of water it will die, because fish was made from water, to live in the water. Likewise, a Child of God is born of the Word of God and can only abide by the Word of God(1 Peter 1:23).   God is a Spirit likewise Man and we can only relate with God from the spirit and this can be easily achieved if we learn how to separate feelings from spiritual things.  To apply your faith, you have to leave the realm of feelings, your feelings will always contradict faith because faith is the only tool we have to receive from God.  On the other hand the enemy can only get to you through your feelings. Here you are maybe you feel some headaches, and you start declaring the Word of God, 'By His Stripes I Am Healed' next thing, "the enemy will start asking you if you are really really sure you are healed and how come you still feel the headache even after praying? Don't you see that God didn't hear your prayer 'cos you don't really have faith?"  See, this is when you stand your ground, cast that thought out, reject it in the name of Jesus and refuse to consider how you feel, just lift up your hands if you can and start thanking God for your miracle.  Don't wait for the physical manifestation of your request before you start thanking God, if you do, the enemy will have you locked down on your feelings and you may never receive from God that which you desired.   Romans 8:8, they that are in the flesh (feelings) cannot please God.

Take your feelings far away from the Word of God if it is not corresponding with the Word of God.  The enemy thrives in feelings but you are a Spirit being and the Spirit should rule the physical.  Never relate to God with your feelings, God does not dwell there, He dwells in your spirit.
I will stop here for now..we will continue on this topic again.   God bless you and I do hope you are blessed reading this.

To Love Is A Decision!

As I continue to grow in Christ, I find myself seeing things differently. As we mature physically, God expects us to grow spiritually too, enhance our relationship with Him. He expects us to rise above the ordinary lip service and actually be about His Word.  The center point of our Christian life is LOVE and it has been a subject of great interest to me. "I John 4:8, He who does not love does not know God, for God is love."  If we are created in the image and likeness of God who is love, then we also are love-beings and God expects us to walk and live in love.  Romans 5:5, '... the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.'  This means, we all have the ability to love, and there's a Biblical description of love, click here to read it.

See God told us in 1 Corinthians 13:13 that these there remain, faith, hope and love, the greatest being love. Love is the greatest commandment and the devil can't stand an atmosphere of love...1John 4:18, 'There is no fear in love, but perfect love cast out fear.  Now, we all wanna love..I know I do and it's not hard to love, but the flesh will try to fight you when you try to walk in love. The flesh will give you reasons why you should not, why it should be all about you first..but that is contrary to God's Word. You see, LOVE IS A DECISION! To love means to give yourself.  Faith receives, Hope expects, while Love gives.  Love is sacrifice! Jesus Christ gave Himself for us as a love sacrifice and He told us in John 13:34, "A new commandment i give you: 'Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.'"

Love is that decision to forgive irrespective of how you feel, deciding not to think evil of others, a decision to believe in God, forgive yourself, a decision not to envy others, not to be prideful. Love is not easily provoked and endures all things.  To be honest with you, I am also a work in progress in some of the points mentioned 1Conrithians 13.  I realize that I must try and be conscious of walking in love, it's not enough to just say I love you and I love God. We have to show it.  Jesus wasn't too excited about the experience He was going to undergo during the time of His death, but He still died for us and is alive today, Glory to God! Likewise, we may not feel like doing some of these things listed in 1Cor 13, but we have to do it anyways. Besides, Jesus Himself said in John 14:21, 'he who has My commandments and keep them, it is he who loves Me, and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.'  I don't know about, you but I really would like Jesus to manifest Himself to me..(literally too).  We can do the love thing you know. Let's ask God to give us the ability to continuously walk in love everyday, despite any contrary situation.  God bless you in Jesus name.

My Thoughts Today...

To enjoy being a Christian, you must know how much God loves you..
To know how much God loves you, you must know how much you are worth..
To know how much you are worth, you must know how much Jesus is worth to God..
Why? Because God exchanged the life of Jesus for yours and mine..
Remember Jesus was not forced to give His life..He did it willingly..
Don't let any voice tell you anything contrary to this truth..
Not even your sin can separate you from the love of God, but unbelief can.
Belief this today and just keep smiling, there's a treasure in you. Look inside you.

The Game Was Rigged, We Win!

Life is like a battle field and each and every one of us have our battles. It's a warfare! As children of God, we are soldiers in the army of the Lord and all the challenges we go through are meant to make us strong. 2nd Timothy 2:3 says, "therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."  The good news is that if we pay attention to God who knows the ending from the Beginning, Himself being the Beginning and the Ending, we will know how the end will be. God is on our side, the game was rigged, we win. We are more than Conquerors. We are overcomers in Christ Jesus.
It doesn't matter what you are going through or how you got to the place where you are...whether you are at fault or not, there is a good news for you. God is a God of 2nd chance, 3rd chance etc. "For the righteous man falls seven times and rises again" Proverbs 24:16.

Ephesians 6 talks about the warfare we face in our lives and how to overcome them all.  Ephesians 6 from verse 10, tells us how..."Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth(which is the Word), having put on the breastplate of righteousness (the Word),  and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;(the Word); above all, taking the shield of faith (the Word of), with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  And take the helmet of salvation (the Word), and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saint."
Remember, you are born of the Word and can only live by the Word. Let's take the Word of God seriously for it is our life and our life depends on it.  God bless you.

Surrender Your Mind!

Beloved of God, when you are a Christian, it means that you are alive to God. By that, I mean your spirit is alive to God. Your spirit is now one with God. "But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him." 1 Corinthians 6:17. You are now in the household of God.  It is vital to note that it is the spirit of the man that is recreated not his mind. For man is a spirit, he has a soul (where his mind, emotions and thoughts reside) and he lives in a body. The real man is the spirit. So when we got saved, it was our spirit that was recreated, not our minds. This mind needs to be submitted to God, by renewing it with the Word of God. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12 vs 2.
God wants us to surrender our minds to Him by speaking and meditating on His words always so we can have a good life here in this world. "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." Joshua 1:8.  This is what will guarantee us having a good life, void of worry, sin, poverty, sorrow, sadness etc. Let's surrender our minds to God by keeping our hearts continually on His Word. Isaiah 26:3 says, "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! God bless you!

It's Still Worth A Dollar!

If you take a fresh clean dollar note, squeeze it, crumple it, stomp on it, etc..it will still be worth a dollar. You may even tear it, when you put it together in a tape, it is still worth a dollar.  This is just an illustration. As human beings, created in the image of God, we are the most valuable of all of God's creatures. "And God said, 'let us make man in our image and after our likeness'" Gen 1:26.
I believe that if God could comfortably come in the likeness of man in the Person of Jesus, then we are and can be comfortably be in the image of God.  So you see, you are not a piece of trash, you are not even a sinner(that's if you have received Jesus).  You are righteous. God made you righteous just like He is. This is why Jesus came.

You may not necessarily like your life right now, you may be going through heat..I mean some real heat. Things may be going the wrong way for you physically, financially, emotionally spiritually..you may feel you have gone far in your sins. But in the eyes of God, you are worth the life of His Son Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."  John 3:16.  Jesus did not come to die in vain, He died for us. All you need do is to believe in Jesus and receive Him as the Lord of your life. Don't be ruled by those feelings of being unloved, condemned, abandoned, forgotten etc. Please don't give up, don't let satan push you into condemnation, into suicide, or into apostasy! Pick up yourself, run to God! Just open your mouth and ask God to save you in Jesus name, to help you, to make Himself real to you. You need to go to a Bible Believing Church to be taught the Word of God.
Make sure you do not give satan what he wants..your soul! Remember, it is never late with God, there's no situation God cannot change. God may not be early, but He is never late. He is always on time, for He is time.

It Did Not End At The Cross!

Justification is BIG, it is higher than redemption. As Christians, we are not just redeemed, we are justified. Redemption means saved from sin, while Justification means to be declared not guilty! If you are a Christian, in the eyes of God, you are not the redeemed..YOU ARE THE JUSTIFIED..meaning you are NOT GUILTY! Jesus by His death, redeemed/paid the price of the sins of every human being born into this world.  But being redeemed does not clear you from guilt and it's not a guarantee that you will not sin again. For example, if I do something wrong and you take my punishment, it doesn't clear me of the guilt and it may not stop me from doing something wrong again(think about it).

Romans 5:1, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"  We are justified because it did not end at the cross. Jesus Christ resurrected, He is Alive!
Question: If the death of Jesus means you are redeemed from your sins, what does His resurrection mean?

Romans 4:24-25, "..It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.
God raised Jesus from the dead and when we receive Jesus, we are new creations like Him, God sees Christ in us, we are justified, we are righteous.
2 Corinthians 5:21, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
What if I sin you may ask..well, if you understand the love of God, you will not sin, that's why you gotta study your Bible to renew your mind, get close to God. However, if you do sin, the Bible says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
You see, God's love for us is amazing...all we have to do is believe and accept Jesus as our Lord. Remember, it did not end at the Cross..Jesus paid for our sins with His life, but God raised Him from the dead for our justification. You and I can now stand in God's presence, blameless and righteous not because of what we did or didn't do but because of what Jesus did. It's all about Jesus, it's all about the love of God!

Jesus Took Your Place, So You Can Take His Place.

The Bible said, "The Soul that sinneth, it shall die...!" Ezekiel 18:20. Sin is defined as the transgression of the law. God made the first man Adam, put him in a garden and commanded him saying, 'of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the Knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shall surely die." Genesis 2:16-17.  Well, Adam disobeyed God by listening to satan, he ate the fruit (Genesis Chapter 3) and he died too. This is because God's spirit disconnected from him for God is too holy to be associated with sin. Death is separation from God for God is a Spirit, man is also a Spirit, possessing a soul and living in body. When God's Spirit departs from man's spirit, he is dead. This is the reason the ordinary man go through pains, sorrows, sicknesses, sufferings, hardship, fear, wickedness etc.

However, we are not hopeless! God made a way for us to be reconciled to Him by sending His Son Jesus Christ to take our place and die for our sins so we can take His place. You may have heard about Jesus the Son of God, the one we celebrate His birth during Christmas. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit (His mom was a virgin) and He later grew up into a man. He was innocent, but for our sake He was condemned, beaten mercilessly, tortured beyond recognition. He was nailed to the cross and died for everyone. "For He(God) had made Him(Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21.  God is no longer judging man over his sins. All our sins, past, present and future have been paid for in full. The blood of Jesus is holy, spotless and very powerful, there's no sin it cannot clean. That blood was shed as a sacrifice for our sins. "For without the shedding of the blood, there is no forgiveness of sins" Leviticus 17:11, Hebrews 9:22.  Good News, is that God also raised Jesus from the dead for our justification. Yay! Jesus Is Alive!(This will be our next topic)

It's time for us to take our place in God by receiving Jesus as our Lord. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes in Him is not condemned, but He that believes not is already condemned because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18.   See, this may sound as a cliche to you but you must know that if you do not confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will go to hell! Please DO NOT take this lightly.
If you want to make Jesus your Lord, please read the following lines loud and mean it from your heart.  'Lord Jesus Christ, I believe You are the Son of God! I believe that You died for me and that God raised You from the dead, I confess You  as my  Lord and Savior, and I ask that You come into my heart today and be the Lord of my life. Going forward, I will worship You for the rest of my life. Thank You for I am born again, I am saved.'

If you said those words above, Glory to God! You are now a Christian, you need to get in touch with other Christians; start going to church. You wanna know more about God so satan will not deceive you. The more you know about God, the stronger you become and able to reign in life over sickness, diseases, pains, poverty etc. The everlasting joy will be yours and you will be in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Remember, you are a new born in Christ and like a new born baby desires milk, so you should desire the Word of God. Get in touch quickly with a Bible believing, teaching church, ask Jesus to show you the place to go and worship and I know He will. Try and start doing something in the church too. Look for a place to serve, use your talent, be it in music, cleaning, ushering, anything. Get involved! Join this Chariot! You will never regret it. You are loved!
Congratulations and welcome to the Family of God, I will be seeing you someday in Heaven. God bless you richly in Jesus name.

Did David Kill Goliath With A Stone?

1st Samuel chapter 17 tells an amazing and fascinating story of king David and Goliath.  Goliath was a Philistine, a 10 feet tall giant, a man of war...while David was a 17 years shepherd boy. Goliath was completely covered with his battle armor while David had only a sling and a stone as his weapon, both ready for battle. However, David miraculously killed Goliath the giant with the first shot from his sling. It is interesting to note that the giant was already dead spiritually before David's stone got to his forehead. This is because David prophesied his death, he already saw how he will die and he described what will happen to the giant afterward...hear him "Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's , and he will give you into our hands."...1 Samuel 17:45-47.

David before now was already anointed to be king of Israel, and he was also a prophet, so his words were anointed and full of God's power. God honored his words. Ecclesiastes 8:4, "Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?"
Do you know as children of God we also are kings and our words are equally powerful?  Revelation 1:5-6, "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."  God wants us to take charge and make confessions that will always change our lives for His glory.  So if you are a child of God, you are a king and you better watch what you because it will definitely come to pass.  Job 22:28, "Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee."  This is quite exciting, it means we can use our tongues to talk our ways to the top for God had said...so we may boldly say...Hebrews 13 v 5-6. God bless you.

Just My Thoughts Today.

Each day we wake up is a blessing and also an opportunity.
Our job is to use our talents to glorify God, touching lives in love,
Forgiving people who wrong us, saying 'thank you' for little things,
Putting a smile on the faces of people,
God has blessed us and made us a blessing..,
We can use it to make the world better,
God loves people, since we are like God, let's love like God. LOVE PEOPLE.

Take The Word Medicine Everyday!!

I've seen some people who religiously take their the drugs prescribed by the doctor as if their lives depends on it..(their lives depend on it, 'cos that's all they know)
If only we can pursue the things of God with such gusto!  It's okay to visit the doctor and take your drugs as directed after all it was God that gave man the science knowledge for it.  Question: What if you encounter a sickness or disease that the doctor can't cure? Then, whatchu gonna do? However, there's a way.  The way is in the Word of God and in your mouth!  Just like you take your medicine religiously everyday, you can take the Word Medicine as well and encounter not just divine healing, but divine health. God's Word is living and active! Hebrews 4:12.

Proverbs 4:20-22, "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." Would you pay attention to God's Word? Will you open your mouth and say what God says about you in His Word? How about telling that sickness to die and pass out of your body in the Name of Jesus because by His stripes you were healed!  How about declaring that you are in divine health everyday you wake up or whenever thoughts of sickness come into mind?

Romans 10:8-9, "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
I would to God that people take God's Word seriously and do as the Word says..hence Isaiah 53:1 says, "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?"  Get a hold on God's Word and don't give up! Keep saying it, until the result becomes evident in your life. Say the Word like your life depends on it, 'cos your life sure depends on it. Remember, Hebrews 10:23 NCV, "Let us hold firmly to the hope that we have confessed, because we can trust God to do what he promised."

God bless you.

Who Are You Listening To?

One thing we can't change is the fact that man was made to be ruled by words.  Every decision you make, words you speak, things you do are based on the words that govern your life. Who you been listening to?  Remember Adam and Eve, when they disobeyed God and hid themselves from God in the garden because they found out they were naked; God asked Adam, "who told thee you were naked..?" Genesis 3:11.  God knew He made man to be ruled by words, so someone must have told Adam he was naked, since God didn't tell them, then who did. Who you been listening to?

Proverbs 23:7, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.."   Your life is directed by your thoughts, people just don't wake up and decide to commit suicide or kill other people, or rob them etc. They must have premeditated on such thoughts or been brain washed.  Instead of thinking negative thoughts, you might as well direct your mind to positive things and more importantly, to God's Word which is life and spirit. (John 6:63)
"Romans 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."  Going to church on Sundays is not enough, we must study the Word personally and let it occupy your thoughts.  The power to cast down negative thoughts from your mind is by meditating on the Word of God. (2 Corinthians 10:4-6).....No wonder the Bible says "Guard your hearts more than anything else, because the source of your life flows from it" Proverbs 4:23.

It is so easy to get carried away with thoughts that don't glorify God. You pick them from News, colleagues, relatives, even from the devil through your mind.  Thoughts of fear, condemnation, poverty, sickness etc they don't glorify God..but you can change them by redirecting your mind to think only good thoughts. God said it can be done..Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Easter Is The Reason For Every Season!

1 Corinthians 15:17, 20 ..."And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. But now is Christ risen from the dead.."
As lovely as Christmas is to us, Easter is the climax of everything.  This is because Jesus took our place, He died for the sins of the whole world, He also paid the full price of our sins and defeated the devil and his cohorts on our behalf.
Colossians 2:13-15,"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross."

The death and resurrection of Jesus made it possible for Him to live in our hearts. This is why Christianity is NOT a religion. Christianity is the manifestation of God in humanity.  Jesus died, rose from the dead and He now lives inside us by His Spirit, now we are super human. We reign over sin, devil, sicknesses, diseases. We are one with God Almighty! We can call God 'Papa'...This is totally amazing. God is no longer mad at us because of our sins..We are at peace with Him.  No wonder the Bible said, "Christ in us, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27.
LET'S REJOICE! CHRIST IS RISEN! THIS IS CHRISTIANITY!  JESUS NOW LIVES IN YOU AND ME. As Jesus is, so are we right here, right now! 1 John 4:17.

If you want Christ to live in you, and make Jesus the Lord of your life. I have a little page for you to read and understand what you must do. Please click here.  God bless you.

Learn To Forgive Yourself.

Beloved of God, Jesus came into this world for you and I, to make us the sons of God.  Since man was originally condemned due to the first Adam's fall in the garden of Eden, the second Adam Jesus came to make us righteous by shedding His blood for the forgiveness of our sins.
Romans 5:17, "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)"
It's important to note that one cannot reign in life if he/she is living in sin.  You need the to receive the abundant grace of God to walk away from sin.  Grace has been given, take advantage of it.  Ask God to forgive you, cleanse you from your sins and declare that you have received abundance of grace to overcome sin in Jesus name.
1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Beloved, when you ask God to forgive you, please believe that He has..it doesn't matter that satan may be plaguing your mind with guilt.  You must believe God's Word, forgiveness and also forgive yourself.  If you don't forgive yourself, you will feel like God is far away from you and you will loose faith..and that is exactly where the enemy wants you to be in the arena of fear, doubt and unbelief.  Don't make God a liar.  The blood of His Son Jesus Christ is more than able to wash and cleanse any sin in the world.  You can't receive God's forgiveness if you don't forgive yourself. Remember, Revelation 12:11, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Love Anyhow.

Practice love..
Love intentionally..
Remember, hope expects, faith receives, but LOVE gives..
Love is practical..
Love can be felt, seen, observed..
Love not because people deserve it..
Love like your Father in heaven..
Love even if you don't feel like..
Love on purpose, love anyhow.

Don't Be Like Martha!

Beloved of God, I like the story of Martha & her sister Mary. Both of them loved Jesus, but they had different approach to the Master.  Jesus paid them a visit, Martha went to the kitchen to serve, Mary simply went to seat at the feet of Jesus to hear His Word. Martha got upset and went to Jesus and the following conversation took place. "But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. Luke 10:40-42.
In Johh 11, Jesus came to raise their brother Lazarus back to life, but Martha was too upset & worried to hear what Jesus said to her.  John 11:25-26,"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"  Martha may not have heard Jesus right or believed Him because of what happened in verse 39, "Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? John 11:39-40. (Pls read the whole story John chapter 11).

Jesus did raise Lazarus from the dead, Glory to God! I pray we never get too worried and busy like Martha and not pay attention to God's Word. Remember, both women are followers of Jesus, I mean you could call them Christians. However, Martha worried much, she seems to want to be in charge of everything, forgetting what was most important, THE WORD OF GOD.  May we not be that Christian who gets too busy, not paying attention to God's Word. The Word of God needs our 100% attention. My prayer is that we worry less like Martha and be more like Mary..only seeking to be at the feet of Jesus and hear His Word.  God bless you.

Time To Receive Your Healing!

Beloved, if you are feeling sick in your body or you know someone who doesn't feel too good...memorize and personalize the following scriptures and believe them with your whole heart. Remember, it is your faith that makes you whole.  Jesus died for you...He did everything for you and I..all we need to is to believe and receive without doubt and also be thankful to Him for all He has done.  Say the verses below loud enough to yourself over and over again.

Isaiah:4-5 AMP....."Surely Jesus has borne MY griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried MY sorrows and pains [of punishment],..... But He was wounded for MY transgressions, He was bruised for MY guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for ME was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him I AM healed and made whole."  (Lord I believe and I receive, thank You for making me whole).

Personalize the verse and read them over and over again for yourself. Anytime you feel pain or sick, don't be afraid, just keep saying these Words over and over until your spirit gets a hold of it, you will know 'cos suddenly you will feel the joy of the Lord and His peace welling up inside of you. YOU EXPERIENCE POWER IN GOD'S WORD WHEN YOU SPEAK IT.  God wants us well..He loves us so much, so much.  May God restore you and bring complete healing and wholeness to you in Jesus name.

What Matters Most To You?

My favorite T.V station ever is TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network). I mean I could watch that station all day long.  I just wanna hear them talk about Jesus all day long. After all, every other News station has one bad news or another to tell, if you doubt me, turn on the T.V and watch the news for 5mins.
So, here I was listening to Author Blessit..He is the man that walked through the world bearing a large cross, preaching Jesus. He is in his 70's, been walking around with the cross for 40 yrs. Boy! I tell you, people are doing so much for Jesus. I feel ashamed of myself when I hear what others are doing for Christ.  (This Saturday, my husband and I are definitely joining the church for evangelism :)  Recently, I developed interest in praying for souls. I wanna do much, I know God will show me with time)
This Authur Blessit told us how he saw Jesus physically, in His glory and splendor! His description of Jesus is mind blowing. He said he felt so much love, joy, peace, and waves and waves of glory flooding him..all he could do was gaze at the beauty of Jesus, he said his clothing was whiter than white and that Jesus was so bright and so beautiful.  I wish it was me..I wish Jesus will appear to me too. I know I will see Him someday, but seeing Him a little earlier will rock my world for ever.   Listening to this man's encounter with Jesus, dawned on me that life is completely empty without Jesus.  Jesus is the beauty of life!  All that quest for wealth, strive, malice, envy, jealousy, bitterness etc, they are nothing. Highest you live for 120yrs and you die to face eternity..wonder who you will be seeing, Jesus or satan. You either choose Jesus now or you automatically choose satan by default.  I made up my mind even more tonight to stand steadfast in my relationship with Jesus, all I want is to be intimate with Him, to experience Him not just from my Bible. I want to have an experiential personal knowledge of Christ and be continually filled with His love and glory.  That's all that matters you know.

Every Day For Jesus!

Beloved of God, life is beautiful not because of the material things we possess, new car, new home, gold, silver etc. These things can disappear in a twinkle or you can be dead in a minute, leaving them behind. Life is beautiful because of Jesus. Jesus is the reason we live in divine health, divine prosperity, divine protection, and all the beautiful things divinity has brought.  The Bible says, "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace (grace heaped upon grace)..John 1:16."  Jesus is full of grace and out His fullness we all have benefited. You need His grace to carry you through each day, to put you ahead of any negative situation.  How do I receive this grace you ask? By studying His Word, speaking His Word over the situation, giving praises to God etc..Live Every Day For Jesus!  No wonder the Bible says, 2 Peter 3:18, "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."  So have you prayed today? Have you studied your Bible today, Did you sing praises to God today? Are you living for Jesus today?
